Summer is a gorgeous black and white mare that is bred to do it all. Summer is HOMOZYGOUS for black. She is HUGE, with massive hip and front end. She's very easy to handle. Summer's sire Sonny Dee Summer himself earned 6 Open ROMS (Halter, Reining, Trail, Western Riding, Barrel Racing & Pole Bending) He was 1 pt away from his Open ROM in Hunter Hack and 2 pts away in Open Western Pleasure. Summer goes back to Dixie War Drum who was one of APHA's ll-Time Leading Sires, APHA National and Reserve National Champion Sire and World Champion sire. Summer also goes back to Sonny Dee Bar. Summer has been being ridden for the last 2 months and rides well. However, she has had a slight limp, so we had her x-rayed. Summer will sell broodmare sound only, as she has some "changes" going on with her navicular bones. The vet said she could be injected and ridden, but we are offering her as a broodmare.
