This young mare was started under saddle a few months ago and already walks-trots-canters with kids. She has been going over ground poles and started jumping all types of 2'6" and under jumps. From cross country logs to typical stadium jumps and everything in between. She stays quiet on the course and gets almost every lead chage (we just recently started asking) She has been off property a few times on trail rides and hunter paces. We imprint all of our babies at birth and raise them to be very confident horses. We start them all under saddle after they turn 3yrs. to be sure their knees are closed and their body can handle being ridden. Ameerah has never been sick or lame. She happily comes to you in the pasture. Stands quietly while tied, loads like a dream and stands ground tied while clipping. Tarps have been thrown over her, drug behind her and she walks over them no problem. We have ridden her through a mounted shooting course (all our horses do this) to further her desensitizing training.She has been only a few times however you shoot off of her without her missing a beat- balloon Pops and smoke goes everywhere and she continues on with the rest of the course. She already rides through water, trots through creeks and will trail ride solo or with a group. Not one to pass by as her price only goes up with training.
