Dottie is currently being fostered by Becker College in their school program. The students enjoy riding her daily in lessons, and are currently putting her over some cross rails. Dottie will be in her first horse show in October.
Here is a brief note from her previous foster home : Dottie is a very kind, gentle, mature horse. She is good for the farrier and vet, loads and trailers easily, and stands quietly while being groomed and tacked up. She is fully trained and easy going, well behaved in the pasture and the stall, and can be turned out with different horses. She is not spooky. She will go in any position and doesn’t care how close other horses get to her. She had no issues with cars going past the few times we walked down the road. She was good about my trail dog running all around her, meeting new dogs running around off leash, mountain bikers, hikers and joggers out on trail. She looked, but never spooked, at the numerous deer we saw out on trail. She willingly jumped the few trees down across the trail with no hesitation. She will go through water in the lead, but she’s better at following through it. She has a beautiful, floating extended trot. She seems to really enjoy the attention and exercise.
