Thea was part of the 2011 November Rescue Miracle coordinated by Stinkin’ Rose Ranch where 71 mares and young horses were rescued from a Nevada feedlot. Upon rescue, the horses were placed at a temporary boarding facility, but they still needed homes with permanent adopters. While many were adopted, others were still there as of the beginning of the year. AAE stepped up in late January to take in several pregnant mares, including Thea and her handsome colt, Carter. Thea is expected to foal again in fall. This pretty bay will be ready for her own special person after she foals and her baby is weaned, or earlier if adopted together!
