Pete and Chaos came to SHARE in March 2011 after a Dept of Ag investigation. He had badly overgrown front hooves and had probably been kept in a stall for a long time. His buddy, Chaos, was in such severe pain they both went straight to the vet's for pain management, x-rays, and farrier work under the vet's guidance.
Fortunately, Pete had no serious issues, just severe neglect! The farrier got Pete's feet going right and with regular, usual trims Pete's feet are in great shape and he's perfectly sound! In mid-January he returned from 30 days professional training. For 30 days, Pete has an AMAZING handle on him. He has a great w/t/c, a big woah where he really gets up under himself, and he is light in the face. This is a great foundation and needs an intermediate/advanced rider to teach him the things he needs to know.
Pete is a VERY attractive horse with plenty of chrome and a bright red coat. He's got great confirmation and is extremely willing and wants to please you. He could be a performance prospect or your trail horse, Pete loves to work, he doesn't care at what! Pete would really enjoy a forever home this new year!
