Rhavel is an amazingly talented Grand Prix Schoolmaster. He is only 14 years old and is very sound and healthy. Nancy Lewis-Stanton has trained Rhavel from a weanling and is now ready to let him teach other riders the upper-level movements.
Rhavel is a 16.3 h Hanoverian gelding, Reggazoni x SPS Dementia (Davigon). His extremely powerful hind quarters allow him to perform piaffe and canter pirouettes effortlessly. He has shown through Grand Prix and will allow a strong adult amateur or professional-in-training to learn the the correct way to perform any movements -- from shoulder-in to half-pass to passage.
In hand, Rhavel is kind, and even a little silly (he likes to let you play with his tongue and might just drool on you a little!). He can get strong at times under saddle, which is why we feel he is not ideal for a timid rider. But this power allows him to perform Grand Prix movements with ease. He knows his job, and Nancy is confident the first time you ride him, you will immediately understand why he makes an excellent schoolmaster. He is easy to ride, but will show you where your training or aids need perfected or corrected.
If you are looking for a Grand Prix schoolmaster, or know of someone that is, contact Nancy at 1-440-286-2536. Schedule an appointment to see Rhavel today, and you will be amazed at his talent and eagerness to teach. Call for full details.
