Buddy came from a state investigation and was severely emaciated. We believe that he is mostly quarter horse but there may be some Arab in there. He is very cute, very friendly, gets along well with other horses, and has nice manners. Buddy is halter broke, has good ground manners, lunges, and has been started under saddle (has had a rider, working on steering and stopping). His training will continue to progress with our great training interns! He is a very easy-going horse and is a delight to be around!
We only adopt to a homes within a 3 hour radius of Champaign, Illinois and we do require that you fill out an application before we can schedule an appointment. An application is not a commitment from you, but we have over 40 horses for adoption and this allows our volunteers to make the best use of their time!
