Marchioness, a striking light grey mare, successfully completed her Mare Performance Test as the High-Point Mare of the day at the 2004 Hanoverian Inspection held in Piermont, Newhampshire. She received several 8’s with a 9 in rideability!! Her full brother, Musanto, ridden and trained by Jan Brons of Long Island, NY, and Wellington, FL, won four first level classes as a four-year-old with scores in the 70’s! Her sire, Maronjo by Mahon (Mahagoni), who is currently competing FEI, is a proven, highly sought after East Coast Stallion who was winner of his 100 Day Test with a score of 138.06!! He scored 9’s for character and passes this trait on to his offspring. Maronjo also scored very high marks for overall jumping ability. Her dam, EM Weserstar, is from a well-known successful mother-line in Germany, and is a full sister to the 1990 German National Riding champion who sold for 200,000 DM as a three-year-old gelding. He is now a successful FEI horse in Germany. Wenzel/Absatz is the same cross that produced Walk on Top, the 1998 Volvo Dressage World Cup winner.
